Virtual 5K Run/Walk & 10K

The Arkansas Nurses Association (ARNA) is the state nurses’ organization that speaks for professional nursing in the state. ARNA fosters high standards of nursing practice, promotes professional development, and advocates for the profession of nursing. The ARNA 5K Walk/Run and 10k is being held to support the thousands of nurses that are on the frontlines of the healthcare fight daily but especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. 2020 has been declared the Year of the Nurse by the World Health Organization in honor of the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. The month of May has been declared National Nurses Month and we want to use this time to show appreciation to all nurses.

In the United States, for 18 years, nurses have been voted the most trusted profession by Gallup Polls. Your participation in this race will allow ARNA to further work to ensure that no matter what the challenge – nurses continue to improve healthcare for all.
