Opioid Education and Prevention Program Town Hall Meeting
The Arkansas Nurses Association in partnership with Center for Healing Hearts and Spirits / WCAAA Drug-Free Program is conducting an Opioid Education and Prevention Program throughout the State of Arkansas to combat the opioid crisis. Through a grant offering from the Arkansas Department of Health – Health Preparedness and Emergency Response Branch, we are providing individuals with information about the dangers of opioids/prescription and over-the-counter drug abuse.
The City of Camden has been chosen as a location to host a Town Hall event on Wednesday, November 13 from 5:00-6:30 pm. The goal is to reach 50-75 community leaders, employers, faith-based leaders, education leaders and healthcare workers to attend this event.
The event will take place at the W.K. Green Center of the Ouachita County Medical Center.
