Nurses Day at the Capitol

2020 Arkansas Nurses Day at the Capitol
February 20, 2020 | 7:30 am – 2:00 pm
Next Level Events and Arkansas State Capitol, Little Rock, AR

Please join us for the Arkansas Nurses Association Nurses Day at the Capitol on February 20th at Next Level Events in Little Rock, Arkansas. If you have ever wondered what lobbying at the Capitol is all about, now is your chance to find out! Nurses and student nurses are invited to participate in this event. Participants will gain firsthand knowledge of the legislative process and how ARNA works to protect the interests of professional nurses on a daily basis. At the 2020 ARNA Nurses Day at the Capitol, attendees will be treated to a kickoff breakfast and luncheon, as well as an opportunity to meet their local elected officials and educate them on the importance of nurses, the largest healthcare workforce in our state. Rounding out the day will be a presentation from Janet Haebler, MSN, RN, Senior Associate Director in Policy and State Government Affairs from the American Nurses Association.

Registration Process

We offer two ways to register – 1) as an individual and 2) as a group or school.

The deadline to register is February 3, 2020.

Individual Registration
Individuals seeking to participate and register on their own, not with a school or group, may register online.

Group & School Registration
Schools of nursing and specialty groups seeking to participate in the event together as a group (i.e. seating) have two registration options. Groups of 20 people or less may register online. Groups of 20 or more must register using the Group Registration Form and corresponding Group Payment Form below. Online registration is not an option. See instructions below.

Smaller Groups of 20 or less
Smaller groups may register online by clicking the Register Now button, or complete and submit the Group Registration Form and corresponding Group Payment Form (forms below) to our office for processing.

Larger Groups of 20 or more
Please complete the Group Registration Form and corresponding Group Payment Form below. Both forms are required. The Group Payment Form will ask you to identify the total number of students versus faculty participating along with payment information, and the Group Registration Form will ask you to identify each individual in your group by first and last name, address, email address, and type of registrant (Registered Nurse, Undergraduate Student). Please submit both forms to our office for processing. We will communicate details about registration and the event to the individual identified as the faculty/group liaison on the forms.
