ARNA Fall Conference
Please join us for the Arkansas Nurses Association Fall Conference on September 7th at the Centennial Valley Country Club in Conway, for a collegial day to learn, network within the profession, and determine how you can make an impact on regional and state-wide organizational priorities.
Start the day with an informative session on the Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation initiative from featured speaker Holly Carpenter from the American Nurses Association.

Holly Carpenter
Featured Speaker: Holly Carpenter, Senior Policy Advisor for the American Nurses Association’s (ANA) Nursing Practice & Work Environment and Innovation departments.
Holly’s responsibilities include Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation™ initiatives such as the Grand Challenge, resources and continuing education programs, as well as supporting multiple occupational health and work environment issues. Prior to her work with ANA, she was employed at the Maryland Nurses Association and the State of Maryland’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. A registered nurse for over 25 years, Holly graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
You’ll engage with colleagues and leaders from your region to determine action plans for the coming 18 months, hear the latest from the Legislature on issues important to nursing, then participate in workgroups to discuss today’s challenges for nurses in all areas of practice and settings. Your voice is needed at the table! ARNA leadership welcomes your opinions and ideas for policy direction and strategic planning as we move toward an ever-changing future in nursing.
ARNA members and non-members are welcome. During the membership meeting portion of the agenda, non-members will have the opportunity to meet with Holly Carpenter from the ANA.
We hope you will choose to join us on September 7th!
