2021 Fall Conference (On-Demand) & Membership Assembly (Live, Virtual Event)

The educational sessions of the event will provide both members and guests with valuable insights and strategies to cope with current issues in all areas of practice. Learn how to recognize victims of sex trafficking, the latest information about COVID-19 and its variants in Arkansas, how to communicate effectively with sexual assault victims and how to help your newest colleagues as they begin their careers.  Finally, get inspired by a message from the President of the American Nurses Association about the power of nurses in advocacy and leadership during the pandemic.  Register today!

This year’s event will consist of two components:

• Live, virtual Membership Assembly via ZOOM November 5, 2021 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Featuring presentations from Dr. Ernest Grant, PhD, RN, FAAN and the State of the Profession where speakers from specialty nursing organizations will provide updates on their initiatives followed by a virtual business meeting. Full agenda and access details for the live webinar will be shared with those registered in the coming weeks.

Pre-registration is required for access to the 2021 event. Registration closes on October 29, 2021, at 12:00 pm CST.

The live component is scheduled for November 5th and the on-demand content will open November 6th. Login details to participate in the live program and a link to access the on-demand activity will be emailed to all pre-registered individuals the week of November 1st. Participants can view the on-demand modules at your convenience, anytime, anywhere. Access to the on-demand sessions ends at 11:59 PM CST on December 4, 2021.

Refund/Cancellation Policy – Sponsor fees, less a $100.00 enrollment processing fee, will be refunded to event sponsors who cannot attend and notify the Arkansas Nurses Association/Midwest MSD office in writing of the cancellation before October 4, 2021. No refunds will be made after October 4, 2021.

Accreditation

Participants will receive 5.5 contact hours for participating in the live webinar and viewing all of the on-demand educational sessions. Contact hours are only available until December 4, 2021

The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
